Rise and Root began with a love of growing and making food for her family, and a wish to share it with the community. It grew out of Alice's developing love of a more natural, holistic way of life and a need for a calmer existence.
Everything she bakes, grows and makes is produced in small batches from her home in East Yorkshire — sourdough breads and sweet treats, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and crafts made from the garden.
