It began with a sadness: British fleece, so often burned or simply thrown away because no one uses it. Kerry and Lauren decided to do something about it — they learned to spin that overlooked fleece into something beautiful.
At Kerry's Creations, the whole journey happens by hand: raw fleece spun into yarn, coloured with natural dyes, then crocheted and knitted into finished pieces. They work with drop spindles too, and bring the same waste-nothing spirit to upcycling — giving discarded materials a second life.
And it truly is a family affair — three generations of makers, working between Hessle and Holme upon Spalding Moor. Best of all, come and watch the fleece become yarn in front of you.
