Kim Barker gathers what most of us walk past — seaweed and sea glass from the shore, twigs and grasses from the hedgerow, flowers on their last legs — and gives it all a second life. Dried, sorted and bound by hand, her finds become besoms, wreaths and bouquets that hold their colour and character long after fresh flowers would have faded.
At Foraged & Dried Florals, no two pieces are ever the same: each one is shaped by whatever the season and the shoreline have offered up. As Kim puts it, the possibilities are endless with her finds — every piece unique, made with love and imagination.
Based in Hull, Kim isn’t on social media — so the best way to see her work is to come and find her stall on the day.
